Did not see the sun today. Temperature was a little brisk - but not bad. Some wind but mild compared to the past week or so.
Only thing I can complain about today is lots of dogs chasing us. I bought some pepper spray and actually pulled it out on one dog. He might have thought it was a gun - cause he/she back off pretty quick. To be honest I was more scared to use the spray then he was afraid of the spray.
We are staying in another funky place tonight (Bubba's definition - not mine). Still camping and now we add the fact that the showers are all outdoor.
Antiques everywhere - really junk. (I have very little wifi so won't be able to show all the crap they have collected...
Tonight we are expecting rain that will last the next four days (did I tell you two days ago we had hail?). It is supposed to be thunderstorms - so I am a little concerned over riding. Mostly scared of the bike slipping.
Only good news we have is that the next two nights we are in real hotels (Quality Inn and Holiday Inn).
Hope they have lots of washers and dryers.
Two more days in Texas!!
